My life as a Dog tells the story of Ingemar, a working-class 12-year-old sent to live with his uncle in a country village when his mother falls ill. There Ingemar takes refuge from his misfortunes and finds unexpected adventure with the help of the town's warmhearted eccentrics. Both humorous and tragic, this critically acclaimed film is a bittersweet evocation of the struggles and joys of childhood, featuring an incredibly mature and unaffected perfromance by lead actor Anton Glanzelius.
